Clean and comfortable room. Well-maintained shared bathroom. Good location for walking and hiking. Helpful and friendly staff.
Nothing to mention.

Conveniently located being just about a ten minute walk to "city centre". The rooms are dorms during the school year, so furniture is typical dorm style. The rooms are clean and comfortable though. Good place to just sleep after a long day out.
Front desk girl was a bit rude. It seemed like we annoyed her from the moment we arrived. Also, she didn't seem to know much about the area, surprisingly. We heard the breakfast was exceptionally good at this Edda, so we decided to spend the 1400 ISK per person on it. It was really the same as what you'd find at any breakfast...bread, coffee, pastries, spreads, cold cuts. Didn't seem worth the price. Other than that, fine place.

Good location within walking distance of the centre, good breakfast buffet, and ensuite bathroom.
It has the instituitional feel and smell of the school residence that it is the rest of the year. No tea/coffee in the room and no towel bars,

The rooms were clean and the breakfast was decent. the location was good, as it was close to my business appointments. the front desk staff was friendly and helpful.
The noise level was unbearable. Children were constantly running around and screaming in the hallways, making it impossible to get any work done.

the location was spot-on - it was conveniently close to the city center, making it easy to explore and find everything I needed down the street. Secondly, the basic amenities provided were great value for money. The clean rooms with private bathrooms and showers ensured a comfortable stay. Lastly, the breakfast spread was delicious, providing a good start to the day.
Everything was just fine, no improvements needed.

The location and the breakfast.
The curtains were thin and 6 inches short of the windows so the room was constant daylight and the sun shone in even at 3 am. This made it very difficult to sleep!! Ensure you pack an eye mask if you stay here.

The location is pretty good.
Beds are old and really unconfortable. We had to sleep with earplugs because it is really noisy. The bathrooms and showers are dirty and crowdy. There is no internet, either in the lobby or by wifi. Way too expensive for what it offers.

The hotel had clean and spacious rooms with friendly staff. The breakfast was delicious with plenty of options. Additionally, the free parking and convenient location to the town center allowed for easy access to supplies.
Nothing all excellent.

typical Edda Hotel; rooms simple, but comfortable and practical

Woke up twice because of noise coming from the corridor. It echoes pretty much in the school dormitory style construction. Also worth mentioning that number of the rest rooms and showers is way too short given number of the rooms on each floor.

Over Easter, my family and I stayed at a hotel in Isafjordur. The best aspects of the hotel were the spacious and clean rooms and the stunning view of the surrounding area. the hotel was located in a convenient and picturesque spot, close to local attractions and outdoor activities. One more advantage was the friendly staff who greeted us and provided helpful information about the area.
The breakfast options were limited and not very tasty, which was quite an unpleasant surprise given the price we paid for the room. the Wi-Fi was frustratingly slow and often disconnected, making it difficult to stay connected with the outside world.

The location of the hotel is convenient, being only a few minutes away from the town center. the hotel is situated in a school, which detracts from the overall experience. the room was basic, with no decoration or charm and the bathroom was clean but spartan. the breakfast was sufficient, but not outstanding.
The ambiance of the hotel was not welcoming and felt institutional.

The staff were friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome right from the start. The room I stayed in was clean and comfortable, with modern furnishings that added to the overall cozy atmosphere. The hotel's location was fantastic, just a short walk away from the town center, allowing me to easily explore the local attractions and enjoy the vibrant atmosphere.
Everything was just as expected, no improvements needed.
